Systems Bsed Design begins with a set of imposed limits: the scale of pallet crates, a single industrial black, and a system of repetition governed by cycles of four. Within these constraints, painting becomes less an act of composition than of enactment. Paint is rolled, carried, and transferred through the weight of my body as I jump against the surface, repeating the same gesture in measured rotations. What emerges is not an image that is designed, but one that is generated through pressure, rhythm, and return.

The system holds a logic of order, but it is continually interrupted by the body’s instability and human error (fatigue, imbalance, and slight deviation). Each painting becomes a residue of this negotiation: a diagram of structure under strain, where repetition both constructs and erodes itself. These works move between imprint and collapse, holding the tension between industrial precision and human excess, where what is fixed is always already beginning to break.
