Sesquicentennial Champaign
A site-specific installation consisting of 150 collected, donated and found pallets to reflect the 150 years of rapid change and growth of Champaign County, largely due to the trafficking of commerce from the new railroad and expansion of the University of Illinois, post Civil War. Navigating the installation becomes challenging as viewers negotiate their own physical space within the overwhelming presence of yesterday's artifacts of shipping.
